Salsa Dance Classes Erlangen. - Learn how to dance salsa effortlessly to the beat of the melody at E-Werk Kulturzentrum (Fuchsenwiese 1, 91054 Erlangen). Couples and singles of all ages can register with or without a dance partner.
A salsa dance class for beginners starts on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in two groups at different times: 6:30 pm or 8:30 pm. If you miss the first class, a quick start is possible at the second appointment on May 15, 2024.
On five evenings lasting two hours per appointment, Martin Jakubiak gives an introduction to Cuban style salsa, as it is danced on the streets of Havana from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm and an introduction to the bachata, merengue and salsa dances as they are danced in the Dominican Republic from 8.30 pm to 10.30 pm.
Further appointments of this salsa course for beginners are on June 5, 2024, June 12, 2024 and on June 19, 2024. There is the possibility to continue in advanced courses.
The fee is paid in cash at the beginning of the first appointment. The price per person for this salsa dance course in Erlangen is 80 euros or a reduced price of 60 euros or for students at the Friedrich Alexander University a further reduced price of 40 euros.

Kizomba Dance Classes Erlangen. - A kizomba dance course for beginners takes place at the E-Werk cultural center in Erlangen from April 25 on Thursdays in one or two groups at different times at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm. Martin Jakubiak gives an introduction to the classic kizomba dance style originating in Angola, which has spread through Portugal to all of Europe in the salsa scene. You are allowed to bring your own drinks. Salsa dance classes in Erlangen include 10 or 10.5 hours of instruction spread over four, five, seven or ten appointments once a week with a duration of 1, 1.5, 2 or 2.5 hours. The price per person is 80 Euro or a reduced price of 60 Euro. The reduced price applies to students, trainees, pupils, volunteers and others who stand before the entry into professional life as well as for the unemployed and welfare recipients. For students of the University of Erlangen at the start of the semester, a very reduced price is only 40 Euro. Foreign students and au pairs can ask for a special offer. If you participate again in the same course, you pay only half of the price quoted. Eligible holders of the Erlangen Pass receive a 50 percent discount on the normal non-discounted price.

The teaching program includes various courses in all the major salsa and mambo dance styles, as well as the dances Merengue, Bachata, Lambada, Cumbia, Cha Cha Cha and other social dances.
